This is a really neat 1900s-1920s advertising wood ruler that reads "
M. T. Garvin & Company; The People Store; Lancaster, Pennsylvania - We sell the best shoes that are made for boys and girls - The store where boys and girls are always welcome.
" The back reads "
This ruler belongs to ______ who is invited to visit M. T. Garvin's Store, often
." This most likely was given away to kids when they came in to buy school clothes. It is a 12" ruler in very nice condition.
