    Description

A group of items from China during World War 2 in the year of 1943. These are from the collection of U.S. Army Colonel E. Schlater Montague. The Christmas card was hand-painted in China by a local resident in 1943. Included are two paper name tags of Col. Montague, a separate note in Chinese and a note in English from Shanghai, China with the name Thuinbon Lynn. See images. The note from Shanghai has evidence of glue damage from the scrapbook as does the back of the Christmas card. Email with questions.
