Judaica Vintage Footed Basket Blue Enamel Brass Catchall Made in Israel

Welcome to Zeiss Galleries!
A lovely vintage blue enamel and brass footed basket, from Israel! Such a beautiful color blue, set off by the yellow and deep reds in the handpainted image of fruit. This vintage treasure has so many details - the hammered brass on the lower part of the handle, the geometric designs on the handle itself, and the accent lines in brass that outline various parts of the fruit image. This basket even has the original price tags from the 1970s in Israel - cool!
Condition: The painting and enamel are in very good condition. The brass surrounding the enamel has some tarnishing (see photos). I will happily polish the brass upon request after purchase.
This blue beauty would make a nice catchall at an entryway or in a kitchen.
