It's lightweight, sturdy, and designed to last for years. Easy to clean and diswasher safe. Choose the blade you desire, coarse or fine, place the cheese in the container, take your black twister too and press and turn. Changing the blades is easy. Simply slide the clip disc and remove the installed blade. Put the desired blade onto the bottom of the inner cylinder with the sharp edges facing inwards. Then slide the clip disc back to secure blade. The clip disc also functions ad a scraper to release hanging cheese strips. Reversely, if you don't want the cheese strips short, leave the clip out. The Graty is incredibly safe since the blades are on the inside, so you can not cut yourself.
If you have cheese remaining after you are done grating, it can be stored for later use right in the Graty. The bottom cover keeps the cheese sealed so no air can get in. Stays fresh in the refridgerator, take it out when you need it and put back when you're done.
